Can E-Books and Hardcopy Books Co-Exist

One cost $0.50 to make, while the other costs $4.05. One is much easier on your eyes, while the other saves your place automatically. The debate will never end between the advantages/disadvantages of hard copy and eBooks, but can both successfully survive?
